sorry i had to post that for psychology..

To make a change….

If I could change one thing in the world, it’s schooling systems. Teachers need to change the way they teach as technology advances, instead of spending 700 $ on books that kids vandalize and abuse why don’t you pay 500$ for a new iPad? Not just the way of teaching, but what they’re teaching is somewhat irrelevant to our lives, memorize it, ace the test, and then forget it, what’s the point? High school is preparing us for college, which is our whole career, and life, memorizing formulas and putting all this pressure on us just makes students want to drop out. We should learn about being street smart, or even medications for nursing and to prevent over dosing. Things we need in the future is what we should be learning in school, not the quadratic formula that we will never use. Making school so hard and giving tests on the stuff you memorized twice a week leads to cheating which leads to pressure and failing. Teachers and the school board needs to look at it from a different perspective and just see how much of the information we actually use in the “real world.” If we focus more individually on careers and what interests the student instead of requirements, GPA’s will rise.
